Admission Criteria
Admission to the Nursing Program at the Bethesda College of Health Sciences will be considered once the following criteria have been successfully met:
  • Review of official transcripts from all college attended and high school, criminal background check and drug screening
  • Pre-admission Entrance Exam - TEAS for ADN please visit  ATI web site for a testing center (
  • Pre-admission interview
After all admission criteria have been met, a point system is utilized for selection.This includes: college GPA; college education; residency status; pre-admission composite score; Bethesda Health, Inc. employee status; health related work experience; interview; and essay. In case of a tie, the following data will be utilized to determine priority; Anatomy/Physiology and Microbiology GPA. For the point system detail please go to the Nursing Student Handbook page 12.
